The operating methods of the fuel pump mainly include the following:

Operating methods of the fuel pump of a refueling vehicle:

Check the fuel pump: Before use, you need to check whether the fuel pump is working properly. You can usually judge by observing the indicator light of the fuel pump or the reading on the dashboard. If the oil pressure is too low or the fuel pump fails, it needs to be repaired or replaced in time.

Add fuel: Make sure the tank is empty and then add fuel in the correct proportion. Different models may require different types of fuel, so make sure to add the right fuel.

Connect the fuel pipe: Connect the other end of the fuel pipe to the fuel pump, making sure the connection is firm and leak-free. At the same time, connect the other end of the fuel pipe to the fuel tank port of the vehicle.

Start the vehicle: Turn on the ignition switch of the vehicle and let the engine run for a while so that the fuel pump can build up enough oil pressure.

Operate the fuel pump: When the oil pressure reaches the normal range, you can operate the fuel pump to start refueling. According to the fuel consumption of the vehicle, reasonably control the refueling speed and time.

Stop refueling: When the tank is full, turn off the fuel pump and disconnect the fuel pipe. Do not turn off the vehicle immediately at this time, let the engine continue to run for a few minutes to ensure that the fuel pump can discharge excess fuel.

Clean up the site: After refueling, clean up the site and ensure safety.

Regular inspection: In order to ensure the normal operation of the fuel pump, it is recommended to perform regular inspections and maintenance, including cleaning and replacing the oil filter, etc. Automobile fuel pump operation method:

Prepare tools: screwdriver (flat head, cross), carp pliers, open-end wrench, rubber or plastic tube with a diameter of about 1cm, a piece of wire, and a container for gasoline.

Find the filter element: Open the hood of the engine and find the gasoline pipe connecting the engine and the car tank.

Unplug the relay: Open the relay box of the vehicle, find the fuel pump relay, unplug the fuel pump relay, and then short-circuit the relay socket with a wire.

Start the vehicle: Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the "on" position. For a car with one-button start, you can slowly press the start button without stepping on the brake pedal.

Pumping gasoline: After pumping enough gasoline, turn off the ignition switch, unplug the short-circuit lead, plug in the fuel pump relay, and finally reconnect the fuel pipe.

Manual pumping method for diesel engine oil pump:
Remove the high-pressure oil pipe: First remove the nozzle of the single-cylinder high-pressure oil pipe and loosen the high-pressure oil pipe.

Manual pump operation: Use your left hand to hold the decompression device tightly and your right hand to slowly turn the flywheel clockwise. Once oil flows out of the oil outlet of the high-pressure oil pipe, stop turning the flywheel immediately.

Exhaust setting: Observe the angle of the flywheel mark and the water tank mark, usually about 15 degrees is the best state.

Emergency handling: In an emergency, such as a fire or other situation where the oil pressure needs to be reduced quickly, the pressure relief valve of the manual pump can be opened to quickly reduce the pressure of the oil pressure system.
