Characteristics and Advantages
1. We have installed power isolation, over-current protection and over-temp. protection for the built-in driver. A ramp linear processing is performed on the control signal. These upgrades allow the thruster to switch directions frequently and quickly. This point is very suitable for ROV underwater Thruster
2. Voltage fluctuation range can be +-15%, and operation within this range is feasible.
3. Long-life with 3000 hours of continuous running.
4. Our thruster adopt magnetically coupled drive structure, is the one that magnet array fitted inside the propeller hub is driven by the one attached inside the housing of the thruster, so as to realize non-contact and leakless.
This technology will produce ratchet effect in case of overload, avoiding damage to core components caused by high current when something wrapping the propeller.
5. DC brushless motor is handmade by HELI, with high slot filling rate, high precision and good quality. And high power density allows the thruster to provide a relatively large thrust within a small volume.
6. We have already added capacitors internally, effectively reducing BEMF's damage.
7. Oil-filled pressure compensation structure can balance the pressure inside and outside the cabin, allowing the thruster to adapt to different ocean depths, even full ocean depth. If the water depth exceeds 1500m, we recommend that customers choose the oil filled version to ensure stability and make maintenance more convenient.
8. RPM open-loop and closed-loop options are available
Application
Underwater thruster serves as power system of submersible, such as underwater vehicles (ROV, AUV, UUV etc..), floating platform on water and so on. Different models can serve as main push, horizontal push and vertical push.
The model with equal forward and reverse thrust is suitable for industrial class ROV.

A: Due to the magnetic coupling structure of our thruster, it is maintenance free and very convenient. Only needs routine maintenance: after each operation, wash with fresh water, wipe dry, spray lubrication spray WD40 on bearings, screws and so on.
