UUV Thruster

1. Built-in driver with over temperature protection, over-current protection, and power isolation settings. A ramp linear processing is performed on the control signal. These settings allow the thruster to switch directions frequently and quickly and make it run more stably and safely.
2. Voltage fluctuation range can be +-15%, and operation within this range is feasible.
3. Long-life with 3000 hours of continuous running.
4. Our thruster adopt magnetically coupled drive structure, is the one that magnet array fitted inside the propeller hub is driven by the one attached inside the housing of the thruster, so as to realize non-contact and leakless.
This structure will produce ratchet effect in case of overload, avoiding damage to core components caused by high current when something wrapping the propeller.
5. DC brushless motor is handmade by HELI, with high slot filling rate, high precision and good quality. And high power density allows the thruster to provide a relatively large thrust within a limited volume.
6. We have already added capacitors internally, effectively reducing BEMF's damage.
7. Oil-filled pressure compensation structure can balance the pressure inside and outside the cabin, allowing the thruster to adapt to different ocean depths, even full ocean depth. If the water depth exceeds 1500m, we recommend that customers choose the oil filled version to ensure stability and make maintenance more convenient.

 

The thruster serves as power system of submersible, such as underwater vehicles (ROV, AUV etc..), floating platform on water and so on. This model is very suitable as a UUV thruster, it has large thrust.
