Daily care of the oil pump mainly includes the following aspects:
Regularly replace lubricating oil and clean the oil pump: Ensure that the lubrication system of the oil pump works normally, regularly replace lubricating oil, and clean the oil pump to keep it in good working condition.
Check the rotational inertia and pressure parameters of the oil pump: Regularly check whether the rotational inertia of the oil pump meets the design requirements, calibrate the pressure parameters of the oil pump, and avoid excessive or too small pressure affecting the normal operation of the oil pump.
Check accessories and transmission parts: Regularly check the looseness of screws, nuts and bearings of the oil pump accessories, and deal with them in time if necessary. At the same time, check the transmission parts to ensure the normal operation of the oil pump.
Keep the oil tank full: Keep the oil tank full of no less than one-fourth, which helps the heat dissipation and stable operation of the oil pump. When the fuel indicator light is on, refuel in time to avoid overheating or damage to the oil pump due to insufficient cooling and poor lubrication.
Choose the right fuel and lubricating oil: Use fuel and lubricating oil with the right label to ensure normal lubrication and cooling of the oil pump. For the fuel injection pump of diesel vehicles, choose diesel with high alkane value, good volatility, suitable freezing point and viscosity.
Prevent the fuel pump from overheating and oil leakage: Avoid refueling when the fuel warning light is on, and ensure that there is enough oil in the fuel tank to prevent the fuel pump from overheating. Regularly check the oil level between the fuel injection pump and the governor, and replenish the oil in time to prevent oil leakage.
Maintain the environment of the electric oil pump: Place the electric pump in a dry, clean environment without corrosive gases. For electric pumps that have been shelved for a long time or used in a humid environment, the winding insulation resistance should be measured before use.
Check the power supply and insulation: Regularly check the contact of the power socket, insulation resistance, contact between the commutator and the brush, whether the armature winding and stator winding are broken, whether the bearings and rotating parts are damaged, etc.
Through the above measures, the service life of the oil pump can be effectively extended and its stable operation can be ensured.
